While Norseman doesn’t operate as a commercial airport hub, the closest being Kalgoorlie Regional Airport, it serves its true purpose as a dependable transit stop for road travelers. 

Legend has it that Norseman was named after a horse that uncovered gold in 1894. Today, the town offers more than a fuel stop, with activities like four-wheel driving, birdwatching, camping, and swimming amid the rugged outback landscape.
