The South West is an area with an incredibly rich flora. It is home to some of the rarest orchids & carnivorous plants, tress & mountain bells.

Over half of Western Australia’s 13 000 plant species grow in the South West region, & some cannot be found anywhere else in the world!

Spring is the main flowering period for our wildflowers, between late August & December. However, there is something in flower every month in the South West.

Wildflowers are easy to discover on your tour in the South West. You will find them when you take the time to walk about in our beautiful region!
