Coming Events in Kalgoorlie-Boulder

Found in: News

In the heart of the Goldfields, surrounded by scenic red desert enriched with gold, you will find the largest city in the Aussie outback. Kalgoorlie really is as rich in history as it is in gold and it offers an impressive array of heritage buildings and cultural attractions. Beyond the city, eerie ghost towns tell the story of early gold prospecting dreams that have long been abandoned.

Prospector Holiday Park has a prime location close to town, making all of the fascinating things to do and see in Kalgoorlie nice and easy to get too! We have some great specials on at the moment with single ensuite rooms from just $57 per night and sites starting at $15.00 per person. Check out all of our prices online or give one of our friendly staff a call to find out the best deal we can offer you. If you do find yourself heading to Australia’s Gold Capital soon, here are a couple of events that we are looking forward to:

For the past 8 months the Kalgoorlie PCYC has been undergoing a major facelift. To celebrate the finishing touches having been made, they are re-opening with a bang! On the 18th Feb from 9.30am – 2.30pm at the PCYC on Egan Street you can look forward to free entry and taking the kids to enjoy plenty of free activities for the day - including a bouncy castle! There will also be slushies for sale, face painting and a good old Aussie sausage sizzle.

The sprintcars are back in town at the Kalgoorlie Speedway on the 2nd and 3rd of March for the WA State Championship. These cars are lightweight and super fast ensuring a very entertaining night for you and the family.
